Justice league

Justice league in MX4D MX4D is basically like taking the movie experience to the next level. It is movies that enhance your viewing experience by involving your senses. Before going to see the movie I had previously had some experience with it, in Disney world that have been doing stuff like this for years but I had never seen a full movie in MX4D. The experience matched what I thought would happen and more. My favorite part of the experience was probably the movie because I thought it was really good. I wasn't a huge fan of the MX4D experience because it made me motion sick. MX4D didn't enhance my experience because the whole time I thought I was gonna pass out and I might have even actually passed out. We could integrate the movement of our movie into the movie but we could also integrate smell or maybe even snow. Overall I prefer 2D over 3D and 4D because its the simplest form of movie. I don't like 3D or 4D, its really complicated. 4D is too intense for me. In order

Animations- Today in class I watched multiple short film animations, I learned that it is important to color your films correct and that the music in the background really helps portray the feelings of the film. 1- "In a Heartbeat" did a really good job of keeping it lively and changing the music to make the mood of the main character and using sound enhancements to help show what this means to the main character. This short film had a very distinct beginning middle and end. In less than 5 minutes the showed more then some people can in an hour. The showed the characters personality and goals and how they could achieve them in a short amount of time. 2- "The Present" does a really good job of explaining and showing the development of character. When the young boy gets the present it is obviously that he resents the dog because the dog only has three legs, without knowing why we just assume its because he's a regular teen. As the film progresses he begins t

Moana- In class on Monday I watched Moana the Disney animated feature film. The movie tells the tale of a girl who is the kings daughter and she has always been drawn the water. The ocean pick her to reverse a curse that was placed on all the islands. The curse was placed when demigod Maui removed the heart of Te Fiti. When the curse happens to fall upon her home island she decided to go out in search to Maui to set things straight. The movie is empowering. By watching this movie I learned that doing the right thing is always right even if no one is behind you originally. The movie had a great soundtrack and used a wide variety of types of animations to switch things up. I also learned that adding bits of comedy into films is always a good touch because it lighten the mood. Overall the movie was a 10/10 and I would recommend watching it.

Television vs Movies- In class I took time watching episodes of "Grey's Anatomy" to look deeper into how filming television shows can be different then filming movies. When filming movies you have one script and you perfect it but with television shows you have to write a new script for every episode. In TV shows you have more time to develop characters. In the episodes I watched it was a life or death situation where Meredith Grey faced death, because of the many seasons and episodes before that we know who Meredith is as a person so when she is faced with death we feel that on a deep emotional level. Another thing I learned from watching Grey's is that the actors you pick are really important because the depict the characters. The actor who plays Meredith Grey did an amazing job doing a realistic scene. The tears on her face and the emotion behind her words made the audience scared. Television is something I would be interested in for a career. Another show I'v

12 hour film festival entry reviews: Overall I think all of the entries were good but I feel as though some of them didn't make sense. I like how creative people were with what they had and how everyone took the prompt in different ways. Throughout watching all of the films I noticed that some films peaked in one area but not another but overall my favorite entry was "Greed". It was really good cinematography and overall hits all the point well. I think the overall idea of the 12 hour film festival is kinda bias to what the judges like. I think all the entries did good on their films and it would've been something cool to have done.

How does clothing affect film?- Clothing is important to film because it helps depict a character and show who they are suppose to be. For example, a character in a suit is either trying to show he is powerful or he is straight up powerful. In the youtube video it talks about how a hacker wearing a ripped t-shirt isn't going to give off the impression that he is all knowing and powerful. Audience member already have pre-conceived ideas of how certain types of people will be. A better fit for a hacker would be a person wearing a suit and glasses because it depicts what we expect. Color can also be important from character to character. In pulp fiction the men losing their suits for t-shirts and shorts shows a loss of power and when their boss comes around wearing a suit it shows that he knows he is in charge and so do the men. Along with everything that makes a film come together clothing is really critical when it comes to character development. If a character is said to be some

How color in film affects your emotions- Filmmakers use all types of color to manipulate your feelings to the film. Different colors show different emotions. Recently a more common color combo is the colors blue and orange, the two colors allow the actors to stick out more because skin tone normally falls into the category of oranges. The way filmmakers use color can change the mood of the film when tied with music. Romance and comedy tend to fall under the category of reds. Desaturated colors tend to fall under dystopian apocalyptic. Blue/Cold tones tends to fall under horror. Green/yellow fall under syfy. Yellow fall under desert films. Everything else falls under blue and orange. Color is important because if you were watching a horror film and it was bright and sunny vibrant reds and yellows you wouldn't get the same feeling you would if you were to watch a horror film with black dark blue colors. Different genres should assert different feelings and that is what the filmm
