12 hour film festival entry reviews:
Overall I think all of the entries were good but I feel as though some of them didn't make sense. I like how creative people were with what they had and how everyone took the prompt in different ways. Throughout watching all of the films I noticed that some films peaked in one area but not another but overall my favorite entry was "Greed". It was really good cinematography and overall hits all the point well. I think the overall idea of the 12 hour film festival is kinda bias to what the judges like. I think all the entries did good on their films and it would've been something cool to have done.

During this project I learned how to make the movement and the action of the film flow together. I also learned how using different shots makes a story more fitting. I learned how to use different audio and play them at different times of the film to make it more dramatic and life like. Detaching the audio from the recording helps so there is no noise behind your imported music. For my next project ill apply multiple videos of one shot because that helped when i was stuck with something cause then i could easily use another shot of footage. As you may notice while watching all the videos of the film that they have different shots but tell the same story. I'll also be sure to make sure everyones there for the filming process. Collaboration was different in this film from the others because we had two actors and two behind the scene members, so there was all of new input in the process also it helped having more people to make the storyboard more exciting because all the ideas would...

Professional Article Review

The overall article was about how graphic design is and how the rules apply to how we work in the graphic design field. The main key elements are that we, as graphic designers, must learn how to work with rules but also be creative and get out there and "dare to be different"(Bosler). The authors claim is that rules are important but not all the time, sometimes it depends n the rule. Bolser talks about taking risks and staying open to ideas. The evidence that support them are that Bolser said "Breaking the rules is not for the meek designer or timid client. it takes guts." and "You have to learn the rules before you can break them." Both of those quotes speak to me because it shows the importance of breaking rules. The author weakness was that the article was overall boring.
